Pop-Up Prankster


You too can create lame pop-up dialogs like this and use them to horrify or taunt users less 'leet' than yourself. Just add it to the victim's start-up folder to begin the hilarity. (Or you can be really leet and add it to their registry startup key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run so they'll never be able to get it out.)

If you find a use for it other than irritating people, let me know. I suppose you could remind people to be nice to their computers or floss or something.

To run, download one of the following files and rename to 'message.dat' or create your own with that name.

Create Your Own Message
The format of the message.dat file is:

[Title]<Return>
[Icon Type]<Return>
[Message]

Title can be anything you like, up to 128 characters.

Icon type is one of the following:

EXCLAMATION
INFORMATION
QUESTION
ERROR

Message can be anything you like, up to 1024 characters. Carriage-returns will be displayed also.
