As Adam MacArthur arrives back on Earth in an alien spacecraft, he is intercepted by the US military and crash lands in a Utah forest.

Aided by Nadine and her son Tyler, The Visitor eludes authorities for a day, while giving the small family renewed hope.

Chased down, he collapses and is rushed to the hospital, apparently dead. He reawakens and escapes once again with Nadine's help.
