Winamp Logger


This is a Winamp (2.x) general purpose plugin that will log all the tracks you listen to. It also records times. I'll come back in a few days with a perl script that will do some fun statistics on the log files it generates.

Run the plugin for a month and I'll add you to any future compilations. Send it to the address on the index page! Come on.. we won't make fun of you. Much.

Download the dll file here (and put it in your Winamp/plugins directory). Go to Winamp menu > Options > Preferences > Plugins > General Purpose to configure where you want to put your logfile.



You can get the source here. There's 3 different VS workspace files, I mostly used 6.. pardon my mess. Here is the evolution of the log file format:
