Eyewitness 2

Well, it happened. Another quirky e-mail arrived the other day. In a way I was afraid of attracting this kind of attention re: ufos but in another way it's a good sociology lesson.

I'm assuming you're referring to the Weyauwega UFO. Are there any more
details you can offer, such as time of sighting, distance/height of
object, or a description of the object's behavior? Thank you.

OK I"l try ,We lived on a hill and could see pictou harbour ,the lights
were near the harbour but over land so it was about 3 mile from me now I 'm
not good at heights but we were standing about 300 ft above sea level so
maybe 900 ft above sea level were the lights but I'm guessing and it was
in the summer after supper now you realize that was back around 1985 but I
remember the lights like it was yesterday ,they were set up like a triangle
and they stayed on for about 3 hrs. my neighbor was pregnant at the time and
she was scared to come out ,as she is a nurse in the OR she was scared of
radiation and I kept telling her it would be ok .
Now I have family in the navy and they assured me that it couldn't be flares
sometime some of the lights would blink off and on but they still kept there
formation ,I looked with binoculars but there was no mass object behind
that I could see but each red light had lighter red circle in them ,this is
the 3rd time I have seen things and one of my children ,he was with a group
saw a saucer not long after so this time we phoned the RCMP and they took
all the detail on paper
If you have anymore question please feel free to ask as my husband don't
even want to talk about it and he has seen the light and I would love to
know what it could of been, my first sighting was in 1945 sorry but got to
go ... SuzanneXXXXXXXXXX
In slightly less offbeat (but not much) news, a friend found this and the old ad below while doing some research. Does it count as a birthday UFO if it showed up ony my birthday but before I was born?
Thursday December 3rd 1954? 55? (forgot to write the year down. woops)

"Flying Saucer at Howard Lake"

A score of persons or more claim to have seen a "flying saucer" hovering
over Howard Lake 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday November 15th. One of the
persons is Supt. Earl W. Anderson, a WWII pilot, who says it was definitely
not an airplane, helicopter, or autogiro. They say it looked like an
inverted saucer with lights semicircularly around the craft. It seemed
to be at an altitude of 15,000 to 20,000 feet.
